White, Butler score 14 each to lead Alabama State’s 62-55 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff


MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Ivory White and Tramaine Butler scored 14 points each as Alabama State defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 62-55 Monday night in a Southwestern Athletic Conference game.

The Hornets (6-10, 3-1) increased a 24-23 halftime lead to 30-23 in the first 1½ minutes of the second half on a basket by Phillip Crawford and two by Butler.
